Acupuncture is an ancient system of
treating energy points on the body can often help with a range of conditions,
giving you back a sense of “self”. Acupuncture is a branch of Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM), an ancient system of Medicine, more than 3,000 years
old. Other branches of TCM include
Diet, exercise Qi Gong,
massage, Tuina and Herbs Acupuncture is a complex diagnostic system
that treats the body as whole, working on the Physical, Emotional, and
psychological levels. It is a holistic and energetic medicine used to treat
and prevent disease whilst improving health and well being. Acupucture uses a very fine needle that is
inserted into points on the body to help balance the body’s energies and
assist with healing. |

About Anna Morshead Anna has been practicing as an
acupuncturist since 1989. She is also
a mother with 4 children, living in the Marlborough area. Anna trained at the London School of
Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (which is now part of
Westminster University) before going on to do a post-graduate course in
China. She has had busy practices in Blackheath
then in Wilmslow, Cheshire, and recently joined Jim McLeod at his Osteopathic
practice in Marlborough. Anna is a member of the British Acupuncture
Council and regularly does continuous professional development courses in
different aspects of Chinese Medicine. She has recently completed a Ann Bradford
and June Tramners course for treating children with Acupuncture and
Tui-Na. |
